Emily Prebich Teaching Assistant

Emily joined FSM in February of 2011. She completed her B.A. in Music and American Studies at Macalester College in 2008. She completed her Master of Library and Information Science from St Catherine University in May of 2011. Before coming to FSM, she was in the middle and upper school library at St Paul Academy and Summit School.

Emily believes that a library is a place that is a respectful, vibrant learning and gathering place for students of all ages and abilities. Library learning takes place in an engaging environment where learners come together as a community to seek answer and explore new questions. She believes that FSM is the perfect place to nurture and practice this philosophy daily.

Outside of libraries, Emily enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, playing piano and saxophone, spending time up north at the cabin, and relaxing with her husband and cat.
